Every family has assigned seats. Brick’s just happens to be a lawn chair.

Longtime fans of The Middle know exactly why one chair at the Heck family table doesn’t belong.

It started when the family attempted something unusual: actually sitting around the kitchen table for dinner. There was just one problem—they realized they hadn’t done it since Brick was born, and Brick didn’t have a chair. The solution was pure Heck family practicality: bring one in from outside. And somehow, that mismatched folding lawn chair became Brick’s seat for years.

This distressed, hand-drawn design captures that wonderfully imperfect family table with four regular dining chairs, Brick’s unmistakable folding chair, and the kind of takeout dinner that feels right at home in Orson, Indiana.

The chair eventually became such a part of Brick’s life that even replacing it with a normal chair wasn’t quite the same.

To everyone else, it’s a table with a mismatched chair. To fans, it’s the Heck family dinner table.

A subtle, deep-cut fan-created tee for people who remember the little details that made The Middle feel like home.

Our suppliers provide the measurements. There may be a deviation of up to 2 inches (5 cm) in the product dimensions.

A useful tip! Compare measurements with a product you already own at home by measuring it and matching it to the sizes in this guide.

A Length

Start the tape at the collar's top next to the shirt's highest point on the shoulder. Extend the tape to the shirt's bottom.

B Width

Begin at the seam just under one sleeve and extend the tape across to the seam under the other sleeve.

C Sleeve length

Start measuring from the back center of the collar, follow the top seam of the sleeve to the shoulder, secure the tape at the shoulder, and continue down to the end of the sleeve.
